Charedi Rabbis Rush To Disavow Anti-Gentile Book

This article in Forward describes a very disturbing book by Rabbi Saadya Grama. The basic idea is Jews are good and goyim (presumably even those who consider themselves b’nai Noah) are evil. Although the additional information provided here gives imortant context, it mostly just provides a window into seclusive ultra-orthodox perspectives. The whole thing reinforces for me the importance of accepting modernity in an interfaith society, especially today, when writing something in Hebrew will not prevent its more general dispersal. The book, written in Hebrew, has not even been published and it still has received press in the broader world.
